A nationwide result — not a visa guarantee.

Judge Edward J. Davila protected three nationwide groups of affected DV-2026 applicants and appointed the named plaintiffs, including Roksana Medani, to represent them.

The USCIS hold on DV adjustment cases was temporarily vacated.
The State Department’s general DV issuance pause was temporarily vacated.
The additional visa pause affecting nationals of 75 countries was temporarily vacated.
The government was ordered to resume ordinary processing of pending applications.

A family became the name of a federal case.

We are Artemii and Roksana Medani, parents of two daughters and named plaintiffs in Medani v. Trump. We completed our DV interview in Buenos Aires, lived through the freezes, joined the lawsuit, and kept the camera running.

28 августа федеральный суд временно отменил три визовые паузы и обязал ведомства вернуться к обычному рассмотрению дел. Решение распространяется на затронутые общенациональные группы, но не гарантирует автоматическую выдачу виз и не переносит дедлайн 30 сентября.

El tribunal ordenó reanudar el procesamiento DV-2026.

El 28 de agosto, un tribunal federal suspendió temporalmente tres pausas de visas y ordenó volver al procesamiento ordinario. La protección alcanza a grupos nacionales afectados, pero no garantiza una visa automática ni extiende el 30 de septiembre.

Qué hacer: identifique la etapa de su caso; escriba una vez al consulado o USCIS; tenga listos pasaportes, exámenes médicos y documentos; siga cualquier apelación o suspensión.
